Hey,Saved-by-grace...Joe is good about Predictions into that spheres of activities.His great insight about Rev 18,did jolt me;but I have lingering doubts about that connections,though I have the hindsight of reading into Grace-messenger,and others who contributed to this deep things.
Since Joe admitted that he is no prophet,it is a great relieved,at least it is for mere insights.But when a Prophet speaks,it is dramatic and serious in nature.It is because of Revelations;nonetheless,we still respect all Christian who serve God with a honest heart.Let us weigh it;but i am afraid that Joe might think it, a persecution, into what he analysed from mere studies. Today,so many had lose credibility in the spheres of prophetic insights;but there are still many good prophets around who could add credence to real prophecies.This thin line,and confusions,really sift the wheat.I was shock to discover,after so many attempts of failed prophecies in Christiandom,it is somehow making heads and minds to become more of a Cynic,a Sarcastic,and worst add to the pool of scoffers. The great number of scoffers,and those who had grown weary and now discard prophecies,and actually despised prophecies which runs counter to God's words that said,Test them,and not despised them,...such lulling of weakened minds to become hardened to real prophecies, if any, in future,is sad.I hope U would not be misled. Have you not read that the time is here and now,those who are sheep,will shows that they are sheep;and goats likewise.The line will be evident.Colours will appear,so that scoffers and serious Christian,doesn't mixed to confuse. I was also dismayed that there are calls that we should not waste time on Prophecies!About false prophecies,of course let us ignore them;say, like Nostradamus double mouth and double tongues way of analysis. But,indirectly,people are lulling us to sleep,and told us not to discern the times and the seasons.Jesus reminded us to discern these hours.It is for our homecoming should events occur;and that Anti-Christ proclaimed as God,usurp that authority;and profame Jerusalem Temple. The hour is at hand.I heard it so many many years,and sometimes,cynicism in me want to assert itself;Where is the time of Christ coming,and the World hasn't end yet,is that not correct?Again,Peter's words again remind me.I cannot and must not join the ranks of last days scoffers,lest the prophecies become fulfiled through me.Here,scoffers are showing its colours slowly,but steadily.
