Thanks for the link. So the Statue of Liberty is not the woman John saw in Rev 17 then. She just represent liberty and freedom from political oppression (am i right?) but not those sins Rev 17 mentioned concerning the woman which John saw sitting on the scarlet beast. Who do you think will be a closer representation of those evils she represented if we leave out Rev 18's record of her world trade influence for the time being? Note: This is just for the purpose of discussion. I hope Bill will not be offended by what's being discussed so far.
