Enjoy... But remember

Hi, A careful reading of Matthew 24 and Mark 13 will show you that it answers at least two questions - the destruction of the temple (Jerusalem) and the end of the age and these two chapters contain information on both these events. But which verse refers to which is a problem and you'll have to sort this out yourself, for even Evangelical theologians are not agreed on this. Try and read the verses on the tribulation carefully and see when it was suppose to happen. Also please go over to Daniel 9 and read it carefully and see who it was who is suppose to commit the abomination of the desolation. Prophecy by its very nature must be figurative or else everybody will understand it. All you have is to read the Bible prophecies and see how difficult or even impossible it is to understand some parts of it. Without a knowledge of history it will be impossible to tell what is already over and what is yet to come. Note, Christ's second coming is at the end of the world (age) and it will be glorious and visible to all, like a lightning shining form one end of the sky to the other. No secret two stage coming. The the judgement and the end of the world will follow after that. In the mean time the Gospel must be preached to all nations - the increaing of the Kingdom to fill the whole earth. That is the sign given. Check it out with Daniel. God Bless. |
