interpreting prophesies in the Bible. The approach that is. Now for the approach, you will have to make a deeper study of that. This I am not experienced in (the methods or approach). But for sure, it must not contradict.

If you are referring to general prophecies from the mouths of present day belivers, one important test is it MUST NOT contradict the Word of God. Test it against the Bible.
