Hi TL, Am so excited! Was sitting down at my computer table, feeling tired of theologising with Ivan, so I picked up Watchman Nee's book, which by the way, I have not completed reading it and had left it as it was with a bookmark in tact somewhere on the 3rd Chapter of his "A Balanced Christian Life" since last year June 2000 and never gone back to it since then. Lo and Behold, by God's intervention and masterful plan, extracts of this chapter 3 touches on John 15 from the perspective of John 15:4-5. NASB: "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." Let us expound from this portion. Do give your feedback on this portion, SBG, likewise for yourself, let us all hear how do you all interpret this portion in light of John 15:1-6? Will probably reply after Wednesday as I have a paper on Wednesday, this gives us all sufficient time to think about this. After that, will highlight what Watchman Nee has to say once we have all contributed to this feedback. God's Holy Spirit radiate the truth within us, in Christ Jesus, royston |
