If I wish to view your whole message as an entirety. I will say I have no qualms. Yet, when I start to view how you relate Paul's opinion as a chief sinner and the issue that he is the least of the apostles. I find it lacking, for you have given misquotes by linking them both, which is very common of traditional school of thought. If read separately, one would see that Paul was not resigned to his chief sinner state, but he glories in it, because he knows, under the covering blood of Jesus, and IN JESUS, Paul is made a saint and righteous before God because of Christ's redemptive work on the cross. I doubt you are able to understand what Keith and I are stipulating here. I have found many preachers and teachers lacking in the way they do expository bible study. It was never in the right context and lumping Scriptures that cover different meanings and different applications: esp the case of the least of apostles and the chief sinner. Yet missing out the main part of being in Christ and glorying in the finished works of Christ. I do not wish to push my point across, so if you do not wish to hear what is the fundamental fact and truth, then let us agree to disagree and move on from there. |
