Hi, I think in the first place, such messages shouldn't be circulating around. Any prophecies should first be authenticated by the elders of the church. As one who has gone through the earthquake in Taichung in 1999 (victims ourselves, to be more precise), it is not at all a pleasant experience. Nobody can say it will happen or it won't happen. That is from the world of nature point of view. If it is a spiritual issue, then we should all be prepared to go to heaven and bring others with us. We are supposed to be shining lights & not laughing stocks.
Some years back in Taiwan, a prophesy was made that Jesus was coming and they had to wait up in the mountain for the arrival. Jesus never came. Instead the policemen came.
