By God's Almighty Grace and Mercy upon me, so far both papers that have gone by, have been great. For the first in my whole academic life, I have truly enjoyed actually TAKING AN EXAM. I cannot stop but proclaim Christ's goodness and steadfast love for me. Previously, I dread taking exams, but this time round, God was exceedingly generous with me, when I started to claim upon His goodness and mercies and grace upon me. Praise be to God! Not just that, on these 2 topics we have so far expounded upon, God was also gracious to show me Watchman Nee's stand in his book "A Balanced Christian Life", and had like John Wesley's encounter with the Holy Spirit at Aldersgate, strangely warmed. A sudden peace fell upon me, when I was actually vexed with you know who. Watchman Nee spoke on both accounts of John 15:1-5 as well as Philippians 2:12-18 on 2 separate issues. One about works and one about fruitfulness. If you wish to try and define this issue of faith and works. It might be a recommended text to read. The text was given to me 4 years ago, and probably then, God probably knew I was not ready to handle such truths and Praise be to God yet again, that the timing was just too impeccable. I can just share testimonies upon testimonies. But rather leave that till we meet. ONE LAST PAPER TO GO! Next week, do keep me in prayer. May the peace of God go with all of us. royston |
