The other side is not entirely wrong regarding the issue of faith with works. It is just their approach towards it, that becomes a "you must do this(work out your salvation WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING), otherwise you will not be considered a true believer of Christ as you are not abiding in Christ and not growing in Christ". All these exclamations would only end up creating a group of Christians who will either try to probably fake their works or do it religiously, in order to work out their salvation. Thereby, this negates the need for a new covenant in Christ, our sacrificial Lamb, as it is evidently reverting back to the Old Covenant/Law. So it is man's doing by mishandling the Word out of context, that caused this problem. God is indeed clear on a lot of grounds for the believers and the sinners. No 2 ways about it. I believe you have your own eyes to see who have probably gone awry or astray. God's wisdom be with you as we handle the Word in accordance to shedding light into our darkness, royston |
