Hello Ivan,
You asked:
". . .is God good in the death of His saints (martyrs)? My answer is this: God is always good. . . period. But your question, I think may need to be addressed a little more. In Corinthians - 1 Cor 15:26 (KJV}
"26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." Death is an enemy. This verse is plain. If it is an enemy then its origin is not of God. God is not the enemy of his children. There is a verse Psalms that is interesting and possible what you may have been alluding to. Psalm 116:15 (KJV)
15. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his
saints.
Why is death "precious." I will explain. Why is a diamond a "precious stone."? Because it is rare and therefore costly. It is expensive. So this verse is not saying that God thinks it is "precious" or good when a saint is killed or murdered. But rather it is saying that it is costly. It is expensive. It is clear to me that death is our enemy and is therefore not good. God is good and is thereore cannot be the source of death. God Bless, Bill Roth
