If this being the case, which I myself understand it so. Then is it possible to use this part of the Bible "camel in the eye of the needle" as an illustration about Christian suicide going to heaven? If this is a probable usage of this phrase, on what accounts would it apply. I probably need to recall this incident when Christ mentioned to his disciples. Think it was about a rich ruler right? I think that account was trying to show us that if we hold onto the world's values, we will be overladen with unnecessary baggage, hence we should evaluate instead and remove all excess baggages like our material belongings, our physiological matters, our psychological aspirations to Christ like that of the camel walking through the gate called the "eye of the needle" in Jerusalem without excess baggage. my 2 cents worth. royston |
