i believe we all acknowlege the importance of studying God's Word.
but there are many who study the scripture without the desire to see the Father's love - our beautiful Lord Jesus Christ. many search the scripture merely to discover the practical principles of daily living and all the do's and dont's. even pastors and ministers are not immune to such "negligence". how many sermons have you heard that teach everything from the lessons to be learnt from the mistakes of the bible characters, to how to apply the pyschological insights obtained from the stories, and what we should do according to biblical principles etc, but with scant mention of our Lord Jesus Christ? how Christ-focused are we? i pray that we see Jesus everytime we study the Bible. His, keith
