Keith, I dare say Ivan & Truelight do not believe/preach that if you trust in the blood of Christ alone, then you are forever saved. Truelight, for instance, says “I believe/preach the following gospel: Christ died for our sins and we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ. As children of God, we must continue to obey the commandments of God. Faith without works is dead.” Notice he won’t stop after his first sentence. True living faith according to him must also be borne by evidence of works which is the responsibility of believers to ensure in order to enjoy the ultimate blessing of eternal life. And if they are right in their gospel message, I am afraid, you and I are deeply misguided. God says in Gal 1:9 “ As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” There can only be one correct gospel for salvation that you and I must believe in and preach. I don’t think I am delving into trivial matters. Got it? |
