The only difference, would probably be the coach and striker issue. Heard from a friend of mine recently, who was a player-coach. The best way to train strikers ( or all soccer players) is to get them to go to the side of the field, and just learn to control the ball within an enclosed space. Once they have mastered this, when they are deployed for a game, their first touches on the ball becomes second-nature and causes ball control and dribbling to be precise and deadly, against any player of the enemy team. Lesson learnt from that. Focus on what is important and needful: Focus on Christ, and all things shall fall into place. Still hold on to my opinion: Faith in Christ ----> Righteousness in Christ ----> Works of Obedience through the living out of the Great Commission and Great Commandment living. |
