Hi,
I already said I see no flaw in your flow chart. But I think that it somehow does not fully represent what Apostle James says in Js 2:24 which we cannot ignore. We can only be dogmatic about the fact that we only see in part; therefore we all have to put our parts together with what others are seeing if we are going to have a complete picture. It is not good to put down another believer's view by saying he is blind. It does not help to make the picture clearer. We all need each other. But of course, if we deny the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, it is another thing altogether. Can we agree? In order to complete the picture, we need to connect the two parts ie,
FAITH------> RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST----> WORKS OF OBEDIENCE
(which leads to) =======>>
BELIEVER'S FAITH + BELIEVER'S WORKS OF OBEDIENCE =
BELIEVER'S RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST,
+ denotes working together
= denotes reflects(demonstrates) and not denoting imputation Probably, you are touching on the initial salvation and Apostle James is dealing with the life of sanctification which explains why our views never met. Can we see the whole picture clearly now? For now, I wish to leave this topic altogether unless somebody else feels he can do a better job in bringing us a notch higher. Because of Jesus,
