Yet somehow, I believe that both opinions are just looking things from the opposite side of the coin. I think what Arminians cannot agree with, is the issue of predestination. What Calvinists cannot agree with, is the necessity to offer up ourselves daily as a living sacrifice through repentance and faithful living. Ultimately, I am still standing firmly that both opinions have probably carried things too far, and the best choice is to embrace both possibilities: Arminianism and Calvinism. This is probably more prudent, hence even probably more complete, for it allows God to be God and man to be the one who makes that choice of obedience as well. However, there will be a select few, indicative in the Bible, where God has predestined or chosen to be set apart for Him: hence, the 12 disciples, and hence All are called, but few are chosen.
