Hi Interested, Though Charles and Wesley were brothers, yet they have differing opinions in some areas of the Scriptures. Ü I must instead also quantify that these differing opinions between them are minute, when we compare it to the things they agree upon. What Charles has mentioned here, seems to have certain parts not recorded down as well. Charles is more Politically Correct than his brother Wesley. Hence, for him to make such comments like Calvin is right while Arminius is wrong, is not entirely like him. It seems there are more things not mentioned. Nevertheless, I thank you for bringing this up. Honestly, I prefer to go with what is a balanced stand on what both Arminius and Calvin proposes. It encompasses both probabilities and permutations, for God is far bigger than our human minds try to simplify it to be. Anymore sharing? Like to read more. So far I have gained a greater insight, and have enjoyed corresponding with you on what Calvinism stands for. Helps a lot more in my Wesleyan heritage. God bless royston P.S: Those who have sources to contribute to Calvinism, can feel free to contribute too. I'd like to hear what has to be shared. |
