I think either we actually agree with each other and talking from 2 different perspectives, or we are talking about completely different things.
Sure we cannot be 100% pure all the time. I hope you are not saying that since we cannot do that and since grace is there, we can live as we want. I don't think you say that. What I am talking about is the process of sanctification. Do you believe that we should be growing to be more like Jesus every day ??? That is the simple question. If you agree, then how do you do that is my question..... I say that we have an active part to play in that. You SEEM to say ( notice I said seem ) that we have nothing to do and we should rely only on God's grace? Sure it is by God's grace that He has initiated and given us the strength and power to be doing the sanctification ( although we will not achieve 100% sanctification in this life time ). You seem to be talking about 'blessing' zone for getting approval from Jesus...Well, I am not talking about salvation at all!!!! This is post salvation!!!!! I think you are thinking about pre-salvation works...If so, I totally agree with you in that we can NEVER do ANYTHING to merit anything, do any good works..etc..etc to achieve salvation, it is ALL done by Jesus.....agree. So are we in sync then ? -John666
