"Though we do not have such problem with the observance of the rituals of the Law here in Singapore (I stand corrected), we too must take heed of any form of doctrine or teaching which substitute the relevance of Jesus death at the cross for the salvation of mankind for eg self-righteousness of humanitarians, etc. This is the premise or basis(the finished work of Jesus at the cross) for the effective operating power of God's grace. So, those who opt for justification by the works of the Law (observance of the rituals of the Law as practised by the Judaizers, etc) have fallen from grace, because it is impossible to have it both ways." Will not elaborate much with you on this, but just want to ask, what constitutes the finished works of Jesus Christ? |
