Hi Bill: cc all

thanks for the long explanations..you were right, Christian can fall from grace and that is not talking about losing their salvation.

Of course we all know that there is only one way to be saved, that is thru the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Any born again believer should not have problem with that.

Actually, the issue here I am trying to raise is when Paul first preached to the galatians, two things happen. Salvation of the soul and miracles ( signs and wonder).

By Gal 3 , they ceased to see the signs and wonder because they are trying to add to the gospel , judaism or the laws. As a result, the supernatural and blessing just disappeared. ( you dont' mix Jesus' finished work with your self effort)

Now, this is the geeze of what I am trying to bring across..

99.9999999% of the believer do not understand the gospel pertaining to their daily life and blessing.

They have no problem believing that Jesus is the only reason for their soul slavation. but they have problem with Jesus being the only reason to their being living a blessed, rich, happy, powerful, victorious, healthy life here on earth.

They try to earn God's blessing and promises in their life thru prayer, fasting, bible study, faithfulness in church and services, etc etc. All these are fine. But if you think that God is going to move because you do all thse things, you are dead wrong. He moves and blesses you because of Jesus and Jesus only.

That's why I feel that many believer has come under a curse. They are not happy, they are constantly wondering what is the will of God, they are constantly seeking but never hearing.. I don't think that is the Father's will.

Unless we know that God blesses us whether we read the Word, pray, serve him or not, we will always be in bondage. All our Good Works should spring from this Truth : That We are loved and Blessed unconditionally by Him and that He is well plesed with us through Jesus' Sacrifice..

Believer who do not know and understand this will suffer from a evil conscience ( seared conscience ). They will try to please God in their good works and behaviour to get God to bless them and unwittingly, fall from grace because they will never be good enough based on their self effort. The results? you get preacher who demand that you read the bible a few chapters everyday, pray long prayers and go for long fast or give and give and serve and serve till you burn out etc etc and quit church all together.

That's not how God wants to deal with His children.

There is more I want to share but for now, this is sufficient..
