Hi Eternally Saved,
I must commend you for wanting to share the grace message with the brothers and sisters in this forum. I'm sure your senior pastor will agree with most of the content of your postings. But I'm not too sure what he will say with regard to the approach you have adopted in putting your points across. Personally, I am inclined to agree with most of your sharing. But I would like to gently remind you to remember that in the absence of your body language and tone of voice, certain of your postings can come across as "arrogant" to your readers who don't share your views. I'm particularly concerned about the "challenge" you've issued to Ivan: "We can also compile a whole list of testimonies of healing and financial breakthrough so that we can post it on the site for others to judge." Even though I may not agree with Ivan on many theological points, I believe he is a good brother in Christ. I see his sincere heart in serving the Lord. And I'm sure he is leading a fruitful life in and for the Lord. I'm sure you agree with me that the only purpose of our testimonies is to glorify God, don't you? I know your senior pastor as an annointed preacher/teacher who likes to share his (and the church's) testimonies to encourage and inspire his audience to focus more on the Lord Jesus Christ. But I don't remember him ever using testinonies in such a "competitive" manner. I would definitely love to read about what God has done in your life, so that we can all give praise to Him. But I don't I look forward to using your testimonies to "judge" the validity of your views against Ivan's. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say here. Other than that, I think you are doing fine. So keep up the good work, continue to walk in His grace and be a blessing. His, Keith
