The God of the Bible vs the god of MLM or Network Marketing

Network Marketing has been legalised in Singapore since Dec 2000. Companies that make use of this method of marketing usually tell you that the products are really what you need and can do wonders (Perform miracles of all kinds).
Many started to view this new form of marketing with apprehension at first but thereafter are taken in by the lure of prosperity (financial freedom for ever and ever)and not so much with the products. I am concerned with the proliferation of this method of selling and would request that the greater church take a strong hard look at the basic principles behind the whole idea to see if they are of God, and if they are not, to come up with a united voice to call on all Christians in Singapore to respond to God in repentance and pray for a God-initiated revival instead of chasing after Mammon and subsequently justifying with how much the Lord can bless and how much more we can do with the riches that we are blessed with from these schemes. Please bear in mind that we must understand that the ends do not justify the means, and that this is not a call to question whether this form of selling works. It is a call to scrutinise the god of MLM and Network marketing and to expose it for what it is. Thank you for reading this and I hope that we will respond in obedience to the Lord and that the Lord will indeed see fit to bless us with all spiritual blessings of the knowledge of our blessed Lord.
