What blessing is there in poverty..? or retrenchment ? Did you see the sad and hopeless look of some who are retrench and could not find job? John666: You are purely looking with your physical eyes bro. Sorry that you are doing that. You see only this world. Too bad. Mark 10:21 - And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said to him, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." If you do not or cannot see the blessing that comes with being poor, let me tell you. 1. People who are poor learn to be contented, unlike you.( 1 Timothy 6:6 -8) 2. They learn to trust God for tomorrow for food, living..etc. 3. They learn to give much more than those who are rich. ( remember the widow ) 4. They learn to be patient and wait on the Lord. You see, there is not only material blessing, but to God, It is more important that there be Spiritual maturity. ( Remember the fruits of the Spirit ? ) Retrenched people: Sad and hopeless looks ? yea, so what about it ? Do they trust God ? Where is faith ? Do we love God because He gives us this and that ? Don't we Love God when He takes away everything we have...??? If you must, please read the book of JOB and see how a man of God responds to being poor, beaten......That is a good model to follow when you lose everything...... Faithless people see through thier eyes. Until you learn to understand that being poor is NOT a curse of God, you know nothing about God. You wrote: man, you must be a nut case... U need your head examined man... thank God, at least even my secular government don't speak in the same wavelength as you..let alone God. John666: I shall not say anything, since this shows your immaturity. -John666.
