True it is not easy to find people selling properties to give away to the church for redistribution to the needy among saints. I guess we have to look at the difference in times and seasons that we're now living in.
When the church in Jerusalem was birthed it was no ordinary church that we are accustomed to. Miraculous signs & wonders took place as the apostles preached and taught the people who were saved by the thousands. Most important was the way these new believers lived their lives. They did not consider anything they had as belonging to themselves but all things were common property to them as a community. (Acts 4:32) Is it a very simple change of hearts that took place just like that? The next 2 verses give us the answer...abundant grace was upon them all FOR there was not a needy person among them... No easy answer to give but that's what the bible says they did.
