So brother:
What so glorious about your poverty ? Is that the good old days ? Did u learn any lesson ? Did u get anyone saved ? Did u help support missionaries being so close to God.. ?
So just because you suffer, does that mean it is the will of God for other to suffer ?
Just because you are broke , does it mean prosperity is not of God ?
Did you come to SIngapore because Singapore is broke or prospering with more jobs and opportunity ?
AM I suppose to follow the Word or your experience ?
I was not poor before ?.. hey brother, at one stage of my life, I was almost declared a bankrupt until my friend bail me out..
Thank God my friend never pray about it and ask God if it is the right thing to do. They know what to do..
Imagine all my friend are as broke as you..God help me.. :P
Now I am sharing the up turns in my life and I know that causes the up turns. It's the image of the goodness of God in our heart and faith in His promises to overcome.
Like I said, I have testimonies on healing, deliverance and saved marriages etc etc. SO why judge me when I just start with financial miracles to encourage fellow believer who have lost their job and believe God for a new job?
So what if you are poor and I am broke, Jesus came so that we don't have to be that way all the time.
He want us to have sufficiencies in all things that in all time, we may about to every good works.. It's in Corintians
That means, at all time, we can participate in giving to all the causes that God cares about.. whether mission, orphanges, NKF etc etc...
Can u give if you are broke ? Abraham , Isaac jacob, David, Solomon, Job trust God and God prosper them.. Jesus trust God and there is more than enough leftover (I told you he's not El cheapo).
YOu said you trust God and he gives you the blessing of poverty. This doesn't sound right. Like I say, this is pagan teachngs of the dark ages that is trying to creep into the church through roman catholicism but praise God for the revelation in the Word concerning his nature and promises.
SO where is this poverty gospel from.. pits of hell..like Hinduism or Buddhism.. That's why in Thailand, many sold their daughter to prostitution. U must be blind if you don't see it.
Prosperity don't turn you away from God.. prosperity only exposed the true ccondition of your heart.. Get that brother..just like Grace don't cause you to sin, grace kust exposed the true condition of your heart.
People who went astray when they have a little money have always wanted to go astry anyway, money just give them the liberty to do so. ALL the while, they are already going astray in the heart.
SO enjoy your poverty while I enjoy his goodness. After all. it's his goodness that causes us to repent..as for poverty, I am not so sure where it will lead you except more misery and bitterness.
