YOU:
Did you come to SIngapore because Singapore is broke or prospering with more jobs and opportunity ?
John666: Bro, I did not come to singapore because of prosperity. Nor because of more job opertunity. I was invited becasue of my skills. Employers came hunting for our college. ( sent by EDB). There were not enough people who could do the job at that time. Singapore wasn't 'prosperous' in 'skilled labor force' ...... Don't be so proud bro. Also, You ask if I learn any lesson. Read what I wrote. Ofcourse I did. I learnt that it is indeed a blessing to pray to God without ceasing. To trust Him. To rely solely on Him for provisions. You have no idea of the blessings of peace it comes with. you: Thank God my friend never pray about it and ask God if it is the right thing to do. They know what to do.. Imagine all my friend are as broke as you..God help me.. :P John666: Now I know that your trust is in your rich friends. Not in God. You see, if God is the one who helped you, does it matter if you don't have any rich friends??? my my.... God can create people out of dust my friend. Where is your faith placing your trust? You: Can u give if you are broke ? Abraham , Isaac jacob, David, Solomon, Job trust God and God prosper them.. Jesus trust God and there is more than enough leftover (I told you he's not El cheapo). John666: Remind yourself of the poor widow who gave the 2 cents she had.. Bro. You don't have to have millions to give. God knows your heart. And one more thing, you can give a lot of other things than money. So, yes you can give when you are broke. ( time, effort, words of comfort...etc ) You: U must be blind if you don't see it. John666: Since you claim that you see: John 9:41 - Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, 'We see,' your guilt remains. You: Prosperity don't turn you away from God.. prosperity only exposed the true ccondition of your heart.. John666: Matthew 19:23 - And Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly, I say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Mark 4:19 - but the cares of the world, and the delight in riches, and the desire for other things, enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful
Mark 10:23 - And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it will be for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!" Mark 10:25 - It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Luke 6:24 - "But woe to you that are rich, for you have received your consolation. Luke 18:23 - But when he heard this he became sad, for he was very rich. ( you know what was the situation here ) 1 Timothy 6:9 - But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. James 1:11 - For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits. Why so many warning regarding being rich ? and none for being poor? You: SO enjoy your poverty while I enjoy his goodness. After all. it's his goodness that causes us to repent..as for poverty, I am not so sure where it will lead you except more misery and bitterness. John666: 1 Timothy 6:9 - But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. -John666
