I agree with you brother.
What testimony can we be for Christ if we live as paupers? I believe God created money for the church to be prosperous and self sufficient...more so for the advance ment of His Kingdom. Now to those who say otherwise...here's something to think about. When Jesus was crucified, the Roman soldiers fought among themselves for the garment that Jesus had worn. tell me who in the right frame of mind would fight over some filthy, inferior piece of cloth? simply shows that He was dressed in some really good quality stuff. I believe Jesus, when He walked the earth was blessed with some of the best things in life. everywhere He went, His needs were provided for. And that's how he wants us to be too.....not just rich with cash...but living in abundant providence.
