Feedback Tapping the nerves

Re: Question Acupuncture (prophet)

From: Bernard Soh Bernard

I believe we Chinese had mystified the treatment by acupuncture as something unexplainable by science. I remembered that science taught us that our whole body system communicates by sending electrodes through an intricate network of nerves connected to the brain. Whenever we feel pain, it is actually the affected area that sends a signal to the brain to alert that there is something wrong with the area. In Western treatment, the use of drugs is heavily relied upon to subdue pain. However, the Chinese had found out that by disrupting the flow of the electrical signal could much better control pain than drugs. Maybe the following article could put some light into this particular treatment.
