I think it is safe to assume that because:
In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets; 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. ( Heb 1:1-2) You see, God has in these last days already psoken through His supreme spokesperson, Jesus Himself, all that is necassary for us, in the Bible. If at all God uses His Holy Spirit to speak to us today, I cannot fathom that He will introduce anything that is to add or to contradict or suppliment what He has already spoken, For the pure reason that it would mean that Jesus has NOT spoken all that we need and also COULD mean that God forgot about it. Both are not possible. The Holy Spirit does speak to us today, BUT not to ADD or suppliment or to give us any NEW revelation, BUT to explain, remind and emphasize what is ALREADY written. That is why we say that That the Holy Spirit will ALWAYS point to Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit will NOT draw attention to Himself nor seek glory for Himself. This is one simple reason whay the Holy Spirit has NO NAME. and also why we are not to worship the Holy Spirit. Even though He is God Himslef, we are not to emphasize on Him other than what He Himself desires. -John666.
