It is not just questionalble but a dangeroues parctice. There is nothing in the Bible to support anything which causes a person to loose his consciousness and lie flat on the floor for about two hours. You mentioned "altered state of consciousness". Yah, that is the line to pursue. What happens is that they dull your left brain and operate through your right brain. There are techniques to do this. In the last 15 years or so they have made lots of discoveries on how the brain works. I don't believe either God or the devil is the cause of such knock-outs. In my opinion, it is just an abuse of psychological techniques. That is all there is to it. My personal view is that those who give in to such practices seriously do harm to their mind and personalities. Bye Bye:
