So, let's not miss out on the blessings even though there are counterfeits planted by satan. Remember what the Bible says in Lk 10:11-13, "If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" When we ask Father God for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, He will give us to bless others with. Yes, we can pray down the power of the Holy Spirit! John666: Does it mean that every manifestation in the Church is Of God? I say, NO. Just because we ask God and we KNOW that He will not give a snake to us, Does it mean that God will not let us be TESTED ? Do you mean we blindly take everything that is before us ? Even though God says that He will NOT give us a bad thing, How do you know if all the things in front of you are from HIM alone ? Sure, all the things He gives us is indeed Good. But not all the things in front of us are from Him. -John666
