Need to clarify a few points here.
#1, I have no problem. #2, This is not the case in toronto. While the leaders are continuing in the new level as you say, there are people who continue to laugh, fall down and be in trances, oblivious to their surroundings. Some even are on the floor for 8-9 hours after the session. #3, OK, so you are taling about those unbelievers there may manifest evil spirits. Very well.Also those psycholocally affected. fine. These type of manifestations are then from the evil one and the flesh. as you say. Agree. #4, You say: There also can be cases whereby the enemy can take over a meeting. This can happen when there is strife among the leaders or sins in the church not dealt with. Or it can be a spiritual backlash to the revival that has began. But it need not be necessary every meeting is open to the enemy full sway unless the church begins to turn away in not living in obedience to what Christ is speaking to the church through the Holy Spirt during the revivals. John666: Is there a church where there are no sins in the church that is not dealt with ? No. Always there is someone in the church congragation with sins. There is No perfect church. So going by your definition, the enemy is in control most of the time. I cannot agree to this point. maybe it is the way you put forward? #5, So here you agree that people can be decieved because of the manifestation of the enemy. exactly my point. #6, You say: Judging churches that are in revivals by the outward appearances of what took place, based soley in terms of the manifestations, can lead to false conclusion. What if God is doing a mighty work in the hearts of the people by touching them deeply in their innermost core of their being and emotionalism is an early byproduct. ....etc John666: So if I read your writing correctly, we should not judge the existance of a revival by the outward manifestations/emotionalism. Yes, what if God is doing a mighty work in the hearts of the people by touching them deeply in their innermost core of thier being AND they really change their behavious and life style without much emotional outbursts ? Do you consider that possibility ? That means the churches WITHOUT manifestations can ALSO have a great working of the Holy Spirit where people are becoming more like Jesus and that is Revival! So why do we insist that God is ONLY present in a vibrant church or 'noisy' church with manifestations ? Anyway, I think we cannot jump to conclusions. Be on guard and test every Spirit..... Do you test EVERY Spirit ? Frankly ? -John666.
