May I attempt to give you some reasons which may explain why you seem confused
1) Your thinking is linear 2) You are ignorant 3) You are biased 4) Your limited understanding in applying words like fix, know, freedom of choice. 5) You do not have a Bible Dictionary to help you understand better :-) I remember you did advise JD not to think linear in your previous posting which is a contributing factor to your confused state. Now, are you agreeing with JD? Maybe somebody else can explain better than me to clear your confusion.
