Dear Monica, My first reply to you ever, What you mean 1st by "Departed saints"? You ever heard to confessing to Departed Saints, is your resource reliable to just according to some believer's rumors? Firstly I sort your mind of what you mean by "departed saints". You believe that you recieve salvation as eternal life when you accepted Christ. You are authomatically recieved into the Body of Christ whom Christ is the Head. He is the trunk, while we are the branches. Do you mean that when you depart one day, you are suddenly cut off from the body of Christ? If not, what about the Great Saints who had done God's will thru' out the ages? I can firmly tell you here, they are more "alive" than any of us here on earth. If you say we pray to saints, you are 100% wrong here. We intercede prayers with them. When comes to inetercession, not just "physically alive" believers, intercessions involve all members of the body of Christ. That includes your "Departed Saints" whom you may considered them as "dead", lolz. I hope this clarify many's misunderstanding of the RCC conceot in confession as well as intercession. I don't ever blame on those who just can't believe. But I sincerely hope that they can understand first before placing prejudices. For I explain, not fighting the other's limit of beliefs, God Bless you. pax Christi, Emmanuel |
