<<<I mentioned in my previous posting that there are 2 comings of the Lord. The passages in Mt 24:26-28 is referring to the 1st coming of Jesus in the clouds not on the earth (Note: He is in the desert; He is in the inner rooms). Jesus says: Do not believe it. However, the passages in Mt 24:29-31 is referring to the 2nd return of Jesus with power and great glory which description fits the account in Rev 19:11-16 when Jesus steps on Mt Olives with His saints coming as the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS at the end of the 7-year Great Tribulation. You can refer to Rev 8:12 when the 4th Trumpet judgment was sounded which similarly describes the heavens being struck as recorded in Mt 24:29. This event happened during the latter half of the Great Tribulation which we termed the wrath of God. Can you now see the order of events?>>>
Nope, if you read the whole context of Matt 24, you will see He is talking about His return, the ONE and ONLY. He does NOT mention two!
How did you interpret two returns by disecting, vs 26-28 and 29 -31??? He is talking about the same return! In fact what you have said is the coming back in Power and Glory and if you read on you find the gathering by the angels of the elect, which IS the rapture. Read on..... 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other(The Rapture) YOU are saying the coming of the Lord is the same time as the rapture!It is also this time which is AFTER the tribulation. In fact the whole passage tells us His coming is after the Trib, otherwise 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened Look closely, in essense YOU have said the first and second coming IS the same. <<<The accounts written by Luke is different from that of Matthew's accounts. You know that the events described by Luke and even Matthew are not in chronological order because they are prophesying about these future events>>> I am afraid that your way of allegorising this passage is wrong. You have taken this two passages out of context. If you read the two, the events as descrbed are very similar if not the same. They are reffering to the same event. <<<If you continue to read v 16, it says that they are gathered together at the place called Armageddon [and then Jesus returns on the earth]. So, the verse is intentionally placed there by John to sound out the warning to the Christians to be watchful and not to walk in shame (bring shame to God's name) and to keep his garments pure as recorded similarly at Rev 3:3. It further says that Jesus is coming as a thief. What does it convey to you? It should clearly tell you of His 1st coming which we do not know the hour except Father God. It cannot be His 2nd return because this will definitely take place at the end of the 7-year GT which is calculable. My friend, this clearly shows that there are 2 comings of Jesus>>> As I have mentioned the return is the same event as the coming to rule with the saints. It is a VERY fast rapture!! It doesnt take too long! Bear In mind, it is calculable IF the Lord allows the FULL 7 years. BUT He said HE WILL SHORTEN The days, SO you will find that it may NOT be the full 3.5 years. Have the saints turn cannibals? Please re-examine your understanding.>>> Ivan you need to know when something is literal and when it is a figure of speech. Here I did not say this on my own BUT it is in the scriptures! You fail to realise what this whole passage is reffering to the Feast Of the Lamb. Feast does NOT mean FOOD! This feast is a celebration of the victory of the Lord over His and our enemies. We are Not the fowls!!! We celebrate with him. Aiyaahhhh..... Read the passage as a Whole passage. <<<How about joining me for the Great Escape by being watchful and faithful to Jesus? >>> I have no problems if my understanding is wrong BUT IF you are wrong...I pray you are prepared to endure the tribulations to come with the antichrist!
