God has determined the 7-year time period when AC and his coalition will be defeated when Jesus returns on earth which is the 2nd return of Jesus according to Dan 9:27c. So, the days are shortened have been factor in. It will not change any bit. The passage taken from Mt 24:22 is referring to the persecution of Israel(His elect) after AC has broken the Peace Covenant in the middle of the 7-year period. <<<You say: Ivan you need to know when something is literal and when it is a figure of speech. This follows the 1st return of Jesus as Bridegroom in the Rapture of the Church before the GT and precedes His 2nd return 7 years later to establish His millennial kingdom. I really hope that it will be a 10-course meal included with the celebration. The Lord is warning us to be watchful, be ready and faithful and keep ourselves pure and not to bring shame to His name because the Bible says He is coming for a Bride, without spot and wrinkle. He is showing us all these to warn us of the terrible conditions coming during the GT so that we can be counted worthy to escape these things. I must reiterate that the 1st return of Jesus nobody knows except Father God (Refer to Mt 24:36-25:1-13). The 1st return of Jesus is also the Rapture of the Church. The 2nd return of Jesus on earth which occurs 7 years later is to establish His millennial kingdom. So, if there are 2 returns of Jesus, then your post-trib position cannot and must not stand. As a true believer of Jesus you will not have to go through the GT and you do not have to face the wrath of God. I am puzzled as to why you want to go through the GT to receive the judgment of God or the wrath of God.
