I am afraid you are disecting the scriptures to fit your views...questions a) How do you know the period is FIXED when he says he will shorten it? How can you suggest its been factored in? b)The elect is Israel? c) How do you guess that this is the perscution of Israel? <<<Your exegesis is wrong. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Rev 19:9 is talking about the final manifestation of the marriage of Jesus and His wife (Church). This follows the 1st return of Jesus as Bridegroom in the Rapture of the Church before the GT and precedes His 2nd return 7 years later to establish His millennial kingdom. I really hope that it will be a 10-course meal included with the celebration. In extreme contrast to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is the supper of the great God recorded in v 17, birds of prey are invited to a grisly feast which is literal.>>> Again you reading your own thoughts into the passage. Where does that say thereis a break between Supper ofthe Lamb and Supper of the Great God? Are you seeing things that is not there. You have put in a dispensation where is not recorded! <<<The Bible does not hide the good, the bad and the ugly. Are you ignorant or pretend to be ignorant. The Lord is warning us to be watchful, be ready and faithful and keep ourselves pure and not to bring shame to His name because the Bible says He is coming for a Bride, without spot and wrinkle. He is showing us all these to warn us of the terrible conditions coming during the GT so that we can be counted worthy to escape these things. >>> God is Not a God of fear. He doesnt use Fear to cause us to stay faithful. He uses His Love which Cast OUT FEAR! He is prepairng us to face this IF need be. The christians throughout the ages ARE ALWAYS READY FOR THIS TRIBULATION. ARE YOU? The bride is without spot or wrinkle because of the righteousness of Jesus cloaking us, not what we are. But God is telling us to be preapred for this persecution. Persecution does NOT bring the wrinkles and spots! <<<I must reiterate that the 1st return of Jesus nobody knows except Father God (Refer to Mt 24:36-25:1-13). The 1st return of Jesus is also the Rapture of the Church. The 2nd return of Jesus on earth which occurs 7 years later is to establish His millennial kingdom. So, if there are 2 returns of Jesus, then your post-trib position cannot and must not stand. As a true believer of Jesus you will not have to go through the GT and you do not have to face the wrath of God. I am puzzled as to why you want to go through the GT to receive the judgment of God or the wrath of God. This is not meant for the Bride of Christ who is joined to the Head of the Church (Jesus). >>> Thers is gonna be only 1(ONE) return.
