i think it is better if you seek out a christian counsellor or a pastoral leader from yr own church, who will be able to help you work through yr personal problems. The Body at large can only uphold you in prayer but God will lead you through to work through the problems with your cooperation. We all do face problems in life at every stage...youth, working life, marriage, family raising, middle-life crises, old age, taking care of the aging parents, sick loved ones, etc besides the daily struggle with sins in the flesh, minds and facing the enemy's deluge of lies, that turns what is of God into the devil's and what is of the devil's into harmless entertainment. "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him Who loved us." Rom 8:37 "For whatever is born of God wvercomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world --- our FAITH." 1 John 5:5 Lest some are quick to point out that i'm writing out of context, know this that the Word of God is meant to be applied in our daily lives. Allow the Spirit of God to make His Word relevant to you in your daily living. You will find a lot of difference in reading scriptures and in living for the Lord Jesus Christ and through His life in you (Phi 1:21; 4:13; Col 2: 6-8; 3:1-3)from then on. The peace of God then will be your peace as you pray and He will strenghten you in every situation (Phi 4:6-9; 12-13). God bless, sbg |
