The Bible says in Js 4:7, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you." And who do you think Apostle James is talking to? Christians, right? And who is supposed to resist the Devil? Need any help for the answer?
In Lk 9:1, it was recorded Jesus called the 12 disciples and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. And again in Lk 10:1,9,17,18 it was recorded that Jesus appointed the 70 and sent them out two by two and gave them authority to heal the sick and trample on "serpents and scorpions" (symbols of spiritual enemies and demonic power) and over all the power of the enemy. The question before us is: Did our Lord Jesus give us (all Christians) the authority to trample on "serpents and scorpions" and over all the power of the enemy and heal the sick? How did Jesus cast out the demons? Did He hold a meeting with them? Did He negotiate with them? Did He discuss with them? Did He use the silence approach? Please speak up and answer my questions.
