May I have the pleasure to bring you back to the scene and the conversation between satan and Eve at the Garden of Eden. You must be familiar with the lines oozing out of satan's lip to seduce Eve into disobeying God. Now, what are the Eve-lines given by satan? Look at Gen 3:5,6 (NKJV).
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Just like the Tree of knowledge of good and evil which contains knowledge of good and when God commands it not to be taken, we are wise if we obey, for you well know that the consequences can be catastrophic; the resulting sin of disobedience reaps death (both physical and spiritual)to the whole human race and it is because the fruit is evil even though there is good knowledge in it. The good in the Tree is as evil as the evil in it. So, likewise the fruit of witchcraft in the "Harry Potter" books and film though there are good parts in them make them evil. It is not lateral thinking that is worrisome but when we deny its existence literally, and if we fail to advise our kids and children and also the bigger "children" who being naive about witchcraft may be misled into such practices and with time who knows what may become of them; becoming more crafty than the serpent (satan). Gen 3:1 We do well to measure our intellect vs the truth of God's word because by rationalising humanistically, we may be antagonising Divinity and walking in God's displeasure. Delight in Him,

The foolishness of God is wiser than men. Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? eom. by Ivan, 2001, Dec 06
