If you had been more responsible in your earlier postings, you won't have to suffer the indignities of having your inconsistencies and fallacies pointed out. So ARE you doing what you preach; afterall you seem bent on having nothing to do with anything remotely "evil." Throwing out objectionable books will hurt no one else except your wallet, and maybe the auntie at the rubbish dump (who might actually be grateful for she can sell the books for scrap paper). And if your children are still in school, better withdraw them from the secular school system lest they be exposed to horrific things such as pornographic writings and ex/anti-Christian thinking.
And you can always voice your concerns to the Minister of Education. The Government has been very open and you can get the Minister's email address from the Government website. Writing to the Minister is hardly uncouth behaviour. I'm sure he'd love to have your feedback. Same thing on the bookstores, with them carrying more and more new age and occult books. Surely, if a single Harry Potter can cause so much reaction from you, the collective enormity of what I've mentioned should worry you more! And no need to resort to red herrings, pornography and what not. But I can entertain you. So Harry Potter is "hardcore" huh? Whatever is "hardcore" supposed to mean. So, what makes a book "hardcore". It'd be very interesting to know. And what makes Harry Potter "hardcore"? Oh I forgot you've not read any of the books, so I guess you're not in the position to make fair comments. And stop trying to evade my question. Give me the relevant paragraph where "Eveline... place[d] the Bible in the same class as HP."
