Christopher,
From the link you gave, here is a quote: Author: More accurate than calling these books an invitation to the occult, the danger of Rowling’s books is the fact that, though witches and wizards aren’t portrayed realistically, they (at least the "good" ones) are portrayed positively.." JD: There are no good witches! Author: " Harry Potter is kid in a fantasy world gnomes, giants, unicorns, flying cars, and yes, magic. As a kid, he does good things and bad things. He gets caught and punished at times, and other times appears to get away with things. As a kid, he does good things, but he also disobeys rules. He is respectful at times and less than respectful at others. He is not a saint. He is a kid. " JD: The author, although not promoting HP, has a flawed view. A kid who is born again is a Saint ! The issue as I still see is that if the kids never read HP, they will not know about crystal balls, spells..etc until they grow a bit bigger. But now, with HP they are exposed to it. In the same manner, kids do not know what homosexual people do in thier rooms, but I guess it is OK for them to know them, right ? from your argumanents ?? please...... -JD
