We ask WHY ?

It still amazes me as to what lengths Christians go to justify what they want to do, even if God forbids and clearly states it is wrong....... This includes myself btw. We try to find many reasons why it is still OK to do..... 1. We say it is OK to have pre-marital sex because we feel lonely and there is no other escape. 2. We say it is OK to consult a medium or other form of fortunetelling or betting because God hasn't explicitly forbade it... 3. We say it is OK to read/watch books/movies that promote sex, violance and evil deeds ( incl. witc craft..etc ) because it has literature value OR because we possibly cannot ban everything.... 4. We say it is OK to kill a foetus if the mother cannot afford to bring the child up.... 5. We say it is OK to have same-sex marriages, because traditional marraiges are only traditional..... 6. We say it is OK to end the life of someone suffering because it is painful.... 7. We say is it OK to leagalize prostitution and give condoms to youth just because we cannot learn self-control and because of AIDS...... What is happening to Christians is really sad. ANd then later when something goes wrong in our lives ( like our kids don't grow up goldly ), then we qustion God and ask WHY ? We are all Hypocrits........ God have mercy on us........ -JD |
