Why God does not answer my prayer

I just want to thank all who replied to my posting. You have been a great source of encouragement. I know that God will come through for me. I just need to be patient and run after Him and not give up.
One of my favourite verses in the bible, Romans 8:28 says, "And in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Even in these times, I can feel God working in my life. He has refreshed me from the sad state that I was in a few months ago. I feel a new energy and zest for life that was sadly lacking before. Occasionally, I just need a knock in my head to wake up and see what God is doing. Thank you all and may God bless all of you and may you see see and experience the wonders of His hand in your life. PS: "True Light" - I pray that God will enrich your life greatly and in ways that you cannot imagine as you continue to hold on to Him in prayer.
