OUR LIFE ON EARTH IS A SOJOURN

Are we really believing the above statement to be so ? We have to ask ourselves seriously.
If not, how could Job cope with the worst of problems inflicted on him ? If we lose our jobs and are in debt, are we guilty of poor financial planning in the first place ? If we lose our spouses through sudden death or divorce, is it the end of the road for us ? If yes, why are we not prepared in the first place ? We are ill prepared because we have failed to look forward to the glorious days of the reign of our Lord Jesus in perspective to our current earthly life. When life is rosy, God is around. When life is not rosy, then God has abandoned him or her. Are such views correct ? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but loses his life ? Is it better for one who suffers poverty and diseases throughout one's life and go to Abraham's bosom than to be one with much riches, many wives and long life but go to hell? Which do you prefer ?
