There is really no need for you to grade what I post. In any case, lest you misunderstood me, I am not saying that it is all about mind over matter. Evil spirits and their influence are real and not to be underestimated. I was trying to communicate that as believers, we should live in the freedom that Christ has purchased for us. Many are taught otherwise, so they believed otherwise and act otherwise. That's why we need to get back to God's Word. And you have read my post wrongly. The context of my point about looking to the church was so that some would not be seeking out the deliverance gurus, have you missed this point? The church provides the support for the one who tries to live according to the truth of God's Word. The community of holy ones encourges and edifies and admonish the believer in living a life worthy of his calling. Do you find fault in this? Surely you do not postulate a lone-ranger-just-me-and-my-Jesus kind of faith, do you? |
