Why prayers don't get answered?
well there can be a number of reasons. 1. Are we praying His will into our circumstances or are we just asking him to agree with what we have in or minds? 2. are we praying scripturally? meaning...are we speaking His Word into our prayers or are we just pouring out emotional outbursts? 3. are we praying long enough? Hebrews says that God is a rewarder of those who dilgently seek Him. 1 Thessalonians says pray without ceasing. 4. are we confronting the enemy and engaging in spiritual warfare. remember our circumstances are not our enemies....the devil is. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. 5. its one thing to pray and exercise faith for something...but having done all that...we need to behave like victors. we can't say we have prayed effectively if our behaviour contradicts our prayer. example..let's say you have prayed for a job diligently for some time.....but if you behave and talk like you'll never get a job, then the prayers have been in vain. 6. finally always remember that we have to Seek first the kingdom of God and then all these things (food, job, money, health, etc) will be added unto us. Pray that te job you want would create opportunities to glorify HIM and not just promote your well being. When we glorify HIm, everything else just fall into place.
