Is it possible to be neutral on something? I don't think so, not unless one is ignorant of something, for then there will be nothing to talk about in the first place. In any issue there will always be a continuum ranging from encouraging the full implications of a position to totally rejecting something outright. In the HP issue, one may not be as pro as encouraging the dabbling of occult, but when one reads HP books and argues against the anti-HP folks, one is surely in the pro-corner, even if it is not the extreme pro-side. I believe most of us fall on one side or another, it is simply a matter of degree. |
