If your mind cannot comprehend the mysteries of God's purposes and plans for these people. ++I doubt if there is anyone on earth who can! Yet it puzzles me how you can look "deeper" into something that God has so plainly stated in the Bible. The entire NT teaches a consistent fact, those who have called upon the Name of the Lord are saved. With the Spirit of Christ dwelling in them they can approach the Father in spirit and in truth. There is nothing that teaches that apart from being filled with Christ's Spirit can anyone worship God, no matter what that person may claim to be doing. Then let us agree to disagree, and allow God to work in His own way, what He has placed in each of our hearts. This discussion will have no end. ++After a couple of brief exchanges? I was hoping for something more meaty than that brief exchange before the flag of "agree to disagree" is raised. I am not someone who rejects the agree-to-disagree notion, but I hope it is not used as a convenient (and noble-sounding) way out of having to wrestle with deeper issues. Honestly, what I read of these 2 accounts are deeper than what you have tried to dissect it to be. So if God has so impressed you in this manner, I am willing to let it rest. ++Maybe you can enlightened me more? If God has shown you more light, then you would be doing me a favour by helping me to have some of that light. It would be much appreciated. |
