Sorry, I still do not get any reason from you. I hear a lot of ra ra about reaching others and missions. But the question is, what (biblical) reason justify the spending of $43m on a building? Can you imagine what $43m can do in terms of ministry work, relieving the poor among us? Did it occur to you to think in such terms? How do you know that God is pleased with what CHC has built? Do nonbelievers see the premises and say "what a great God!" or do they say "why not spend this money to help tide some of us through tough times?" In fact, with all the items that scored a world's first or best, is it bringing glory to the building or God? I mean, are we impressing God with the building or impressing man? Is God impressed? On what basis? |
